8pm doors
featuring......

Polly Paulusma/ Jamie Woon/ Emily Maguire

Polly was creating a buzz on the London acoustic music scene, & working on her own album, when she was signed up by renowned indie label 'One Little Indian'. A debut album ' Scissors In My Pocket' was widely acclaimed.

This summer, the eagerly awaited second album was let loose - Polly embarks on a full UK band tour, as well as some special, intimate acoustic sets at selected venues.

'Fingers And Thumbs' the new album 'bruised, raw, honest ... and speckled with a shimmering brightness'

Jamie Woon is an original, soulful and inspiring performer. His voice skips and glides over octaves with precision, fluency and an absent-minded ease. Sometimes with guitar, sometimes just microphone - Jamie performs alone constructing vocal and instrumental layers over which he builds progressive and compelling soundcapes.

Compared to both Stevie Wonder and Thom Yorke in the same breath ... Jamie has a healthy and exciting disregard for the impossible.

Emily Maguire swapped a small dreary London flat for a hut in the Australian bush. Now she spends time dodging snakes & spiders - and thankfully ... still writing songs! Her music is passionate, poigniant and soulful ... a thoroughly class act who makes a welcome return to the UK, and to Acoustica with bassist and producer Christian Duham to play music from the new album 'Keep Walking'. One listen will not be enough!.

"If there's any justice, it's a name you'll be hearing a lot more" Rick Alan (The Cavern, Liverpool)
